About Us

Ellen Galbraith moved from Anchorage, Alaska to the Vail Valley in 1997 to ski race with Ski Club Vail.  After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Philosophy, she returned to work with the Beaver Creek Race Department on the Birds of Prey World Cup races.  In 2007 Ellen moved back to the Vail Valley and is enjoying being a full-time resident.

High Country Solutions was founded in 2006 to formalize Ellen's love of "organizing anything".  After helping family members and friends organize their homes, destroy documents in their offices, and get ready to move, what was once an enjoyable extension of a detail-oriented personality has now become a full-time profession.

Ellen is proud to have recently earned the Certified Professional Organizer designation from the Board of Certified Professional Organizers.  She currently holds Certificates of Study in Chronic Disorganization & ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) from the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD).

Though organizing comes naturally to Ellen, she is very aware that it can be a highly emotional and stressful challenge for others.  Ellen is thorough in her work and very considerate of her client's needs throughout the organizing process.
